Welcome to RelatedLines.com

While RelatedLines.com is principally a collaboration site, not a reference site, we recognize that some materials we find are unique and not available on genealogical research resources like Ancestry.com. In other cases, source information used in our database may be publicly available--census data, for example--but it's convenient for our visitors to have these readily at hand on our site.

This large webpage serves as an index and bibliographic reference for the various files available at RelatedLines.com. The files are arranged under one of three primary headings: People, Places, and Miscellaneous.

Under each subheading--alphabetized by surname, place, or subject--entries are arranged by the date of the original document or photograph, as applicable.

For best results, use your Web browser's search feature to look for specific items.

Ben F. and Alice L. Dixon, Captain Isaac Williams and His Grandchildren: the Story of a Fighting Quaker and Three Generations of Indiana Pioneers, (San Diego, California: privately published, 1967). Second edition; first edition published 1963. The book is known to contain factual errors, notably the contention that this Isaac Williams was the captain of Cannon's Second in the Creek an Indian War; from the complete pension and CMSR records of that Isaac Williams, we know he is not the same man who served as a captain under Colonel Samuel Bunch and that he did not move to Indiana, but to Mississippi. Map of Williams and Related Families' Lands near the Sipsey River in Alabama before 1840. Compiled July 2006 by Hughes Williams from Bureau of Land Management records and overlayed on a circa 2004 topographical map of the area, the aliquot parts of each grant are highlighted in yellow and includes the patentee name, BLM accession number, and the issue date of the grant. Actual survey information for the plats was not used, so the locations shown should be considered approximate and not conforming to the true survey boundaries. This map is very large: 7.5 megabytes in size, it prints to 83 inches by 70.5 inches, with a scale of approximately 4 inches per mile.
